The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch was said to have been created between 1490 and 1510. The work was done with oil on an oak canvas. The work was separated into three panels and also has an exterior painting when the panels are put together that encompasses the outside. The painting employs “film noir” throughout the panels, especially the panel to the right. Bosch also uses implied motion with a variety of the humanlike figures displayed in this piece.
